Q: How long does it take to set the hosting and / or domain name up?
A: Domain names and shared hosting are generally setup with one business day. This time is often quicker if you are an existing client and your payment details have already been verified. Dedicated servers generally take 3 to 7 business days to be configured, tested, and ready for use.
Q: Can I transfer my existing website to you?
A: Yes you can. You will need to specify your existing website domain name in the order form then, once we setup your account, you can transfer your files and test them. You can then redelegate your domain name to our servers.
Q: What are your nameservers?
A: Your nameservers will be sent to you in your welcome email. Currently most domains on the Australian shared hosting plans use the following nameservers:
ns1.southserver.com
ns2.southserver.com
Shared hosting plans on the US value plans generally use:
ns1.northserver.com
ns2.northserver.com
Q: Are the dedicated servers managed or unmanaged?
A: The dedicated servers that Ceneka provides are unmanaged. This means the day to day server administration is the responsibility of the customer. We can provide a managed service for an additional monthly charge, please contact us for a quotation.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Direct Debit, and other methods. Clients with an approved credit facility can order and be invoiced later. If you would like a credit application form please contact us.
